Control/Dimming Old Rosco Raceway Connectors

So while desperately searching the internet and the Rosco website for basic maintenance on older Rosco raceway connectors, I decided it would be a good idea to ask you guys too.

The problems I am frequently running into are:

Open/ loose ground
Hot/ neutral reverse.

Since they are raceways I know I have to turn the breaker off, but is it as simple as pulling the connector out and swapping the wires/ tightening down the ground?
 
Don't rule out the problem being upstream. Unless these connectors were replaced before, the neutrals should "home run" back to the dimmer and may be reversed elsewhere, especially if the raceway connectors are originals. Opening and servicing the raceways themselves should only be handled by qualified personal only. These connectors sound like they are chassis mount (on the raceway itself.)
