Par 38's for theatre (compliant?)

Are there any compliance issues with using standard Par 38's for a small school stage? They will not be around any other hot lighting instruments, but my main concern is the 2-wire lead and it's termination to a male twist-lock connector. They would be hung from a hard-mounted (existing) overhead pipe with raceway installed. These are the cans in question:

Is that a no-no?

A PAR 38 fixture such as the Altman PAR38 is compliant since it bears a UL listing and has a 3 wire lead. The fixture that you are showing is pretty doubtful in my mind.

@Scenemaster60, I absolutely agree. When I thought harder about it, I decided that it wasn't worth the risk, especially in an elementary school. I am not interested in cutting corners to save a few hundred dollars.

Then I lucked out and found 8 of the Altman Par 38's on eBay for $24 each (like new). I bought them up and now we can have peace of mind! I went ahead and paid out of my own pocket, but this will be put in as a tax write-off.
