Running congo jr with cobalt. How do I make a follow cue?
Hi there -

You can add a Wait or a Follow time to a step. A Wait time counts from the completion of the step it's tied to, then triggers the next step. A Follow time counts down from the GO of the step it's attached to, then triggers the next step. In the Sequence Editor list, find the WFA column and press MODIFY until either W or F is shown (wait or follow) then enter the time in the WFA Time cell (you can also see this in the timing tab of the record dialog, or when you use MODIFY & TIME to get the timing dialog). The A means Alert - which is a cool function when you don't have a stage manager. An Alert time counts down and gives you a warning for when it's time to press the GO button. Alert times can also be learned during a rehearsal.

Make sure your console is not in "Modify Sequence" mode (you see the word "Modify" in small font near the top of the Main Playback Tab) - this mode prevents waits/follows and macros from firing. Use SETUP & PLAYBACK to change this setting.

Hope this helps!

Just to expand on what Sarah posted, you can also use the [?] [Text] function to search the on board help files if you need quicker assistance.
# [Modify]&[Time] or using the mouse to double click in the time column on the Main Playback tab will also open an editor to adjust timing for a Preset in the main playback. If you are reusing Presets within the sequence on the Main Playback, just be sure that you are adjusting the timing for the step you mean to be changing.
