Control/Dimming Replacing ETC Unison Legacy Controller

Paradigm. Good choice. They might even be able to port over your Unison configuration file.

There wouldn't be a direct port, but any install tech could use the legacy file for information. Paradigm can do a whole lot more so it might not save much.

The downside is doing a rack replacement. Dimmer modules and station wire should be OK, but not the touch screens or cabinet. But that would be true with most other systems too.

I've seen the tech folks at ETC do a conversion of a Unison CFG file into Excel, thus am thinking some of that might import into a Paradigm file. Or not. Maybe somebody from ETC will chime in.

I've done both systems. Export might help with documentation, but unless it's a huge system it isn't worth the excel time.
