I wish they had some better audio quality! and the lighting could have been better as well... other than that, I think it's really good to show kids that what they learn in school actually DOES get used on a daily basis!
 
I second that I think its great to show kids that math has practical (and "cool") applications in their lives as adults.
Not the best interview, and I second the comment on audio and light quality, but regardless I liked it.

Things have gotten more complicated here in Ontario Canada however as now there is more more sign-off REQUIRED by Engineers. Which is one way is great, however riggers do less and less of their own "figuring" now, as more needs to be done in advance, on paper, by an Engineer for the "stamp".

Even putting up a simple truss structure for lighting technically now requires an engineer stamp. However we still often get away without it especially for stuff "under the radar".
