MDF

Medium-Density Fiberboard. An engineered wood product manufactured by binding fine wood fibres in a resin under high temperature and pressure. It is more dense than plywood, but much more brittle and heavy. Care must be taken for proper respiration protection when cutting or shaping because of the fineness of the airborne particulate it can create.
