A free standing (usually black) stand for a performer to place their music on. It is adjustable vertically for either a sitting or standing performer and the "tray" where the music is placed is adjustable for any angle to make the music visible. The tray is a flat piece of metal large enough to hold an open music book with a lip to keep the music from sliding off.
