TT connector

A type of TS/TRS connector sized between the 1/4" (6.29mm) and the 3.5mm (mini) connectors. Sized 0.173" (4.4mm) in contact diameter. Often used in audio patch bays. It should be noted that it is NOT compatble with a 1/4" TRS, and using a 1/4" TRS plug in a TT jack will damage the jack.

The TT connector is often referred to as a "military style" TRS connector, however, the military standard specifies a connector that is 0.206" (5.23mm) contact diameter.

Also referred to as a Bantam connector, see Bantam TT.
