Also known as a "flash" or "touch to flash" button, a momentary push switch on a lighting console that forces the contents of the channel or submaster to full or other pre-determined level, for as long as the key is pressed.
Note the bump buttons beneath each of the 96 channel faders and 24 submasters on the pictured ETC Express 48-96. Most consoles have a way of disabling these so they're not triggered accidentally.
