A type of hollow wall anchor. A hole is drilled into the wall, the bolt is inserted through the object to be hung, then the special nut is threaded onto the bolt. The spring-loaded "ears" are collapsed and inserted in the hole. On the other side of the wall, the ears expand and the bolt can be tightened.

Disadvantages include having to drill a rather large hole in comparison to the bolt diameter, and lack of re-usability.
