AWG

AWG stands for American Wire Gauge, the standard for wire size measurement in North America. AWG sizes range from 40 AWG (the smallest) to 0000 (4/0, or four-aught, the largest). Above 4/0, wire is measured in kcmil, or thousands of circular mils.
