Composite Video

A form of video transmission that combines the luma (brightness), chroma (color), burst (color reference), and sync (horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals) into a single waveform carried on a single coaxial cable. The cable is often terminated with an F-type, BNC, or RCA connector.

If anyone has ever hooked up any form of consumer grade electronics, they've likely encountered a yellow RCA connector designated for Composite Video
