Monitor

1. Video, noun. A screen such as a TV or a computer display.
2. Operations, verb. Having staff on-hand during the event to run boards, manage the show and/or fix problems when they arise. "Monitoring an event."
3. Audio, noun. A loudspeaker placed for the purpose of enabling the performers to better hear themselves, and other performers. Subsets would be IEMs and Wedges.
