Wedge

1. Audio. Also know as a wedge monitor or monitor speaker. Their unique enclosure design allows the speaker cabinet to sit on the floor and be angled toward the performer at an optimum angle* based on the type of speakers inside of the unit.
*More often than not however, users feel the angle is not optimum, and thus deploy an "audio log" to change the angle.
2. Construction. Noun. Any triangular shaped object for the purpose of splitting, separating, or jamming other materials.
3. Construction. Verb. To use the above. "Wedge the doorstop under the door to hold it open."
