Also known as Hessian cloth, a jute-based loosely woven fabric, mostly used to make inexpensive bags or for erosion control (see also erosion cloth).

Most commonly used in our industry by high-riggers to provide some degree of cushioning around beams prior to applying a wire rope sling basket or choke.

Also used as webbing as found at the top of most theatrical soft goods.
