cable pick

Shortened form of "multi-cable pick-up point," a subset of cable management. May be as simple as a cable cradle and additional lift line on an electric batten in a counterweight fly system, or a dedicated chain hoist lifting thousands of pounds of cable coming off a truss.

For touring concerts, very often located upstage right, as dimmer beach tends to be upstage right.
