daisy chain

1. A wiring scheme whereby one device's input plugs into the output of another. Most commonly used for DMX transmission and in intercom.
(It should be noted that the "daisy-chain" topology generally refers only to the physical layout of the network, but that most networks are truly bus-networks at heart)

2. A flat sling with sewn loops used for recreational climbing and sometimes stage rigging.
