zip-tie gun

A special tool for the application and trimming of zip-ties (Ty-Raps). The tool cinches the tie to the proper pressure, then with a twist of the wrist trims the tail flush. The cut part of the tail then recedes slightly. Available in many styles and price points.

The problem with just trimming the tail with diagonal cutters (or worse the wire cutters on a multi-tool), is that it leaves a sharp plastic edge, all but guaranteed to draw blood.
