How can the A-Series augmented array loudspeakers benefit Houses of Worship? We review the A-Series and the efficiency of various system deployments, real-world system examples, and the benefits that the A-Series can provide beyond even-coverage, weight, and system efficiency. This session will also include a discussion of how the system can improve issues of gain-before-feedback, open microphones, and inexperienced engineers, as well as the visual considerations that need to be taken now that services include more video, lighting, and multimedia components. Lastly, we will discuss how to achieve “big sound” without needing a line array while maintaining a conservative visual and the best stewardship of available resources.
