It seems as though someone stole the brains out of mine, I have never actually dug it out to try it until now. They are going to use it as a pro for "Noises Off!" We may install an LCD and a little computer and make it run arcade games or something. Unless someone has the brains!

I have the original dust cover too! However, I know mine doesn't work. It really looks like it is missing it's brains:

I feel like something should be connected to the two blue connectors...

Here is the serial number:

Not nessicarily! It could very well be they are just expansion connectors! That could be why they are blue while the rest of them are white. I say try and power it up, the worst that can happen is it doesn't turn on.

If it is the Designers console, then it really wouldn't have any "guts", as it would really only be a remote take-control device. You might have a fully functional unit there. Well.... Fully functional as soon as you find the Light Palette to go with it.....

Well, I tried to turn it on, it doesn't do much of anything. There is a switch on the back that seems to be connected to the lumiline lamp on the front of the console. Other than that there aren't any other power switches. I find this odd. There are two N connectors on the back labeled for video. There is one male 4-pin XLR jack on the back as well. I did have to replace a fuse in it, but that didn't make it go. Thoughts?

We have 2 consoles that look like that at school and i will take a closer look whenever i get back into the light lab.
