360Q Lenses - Curve in or out?

So, kind of a stupid question. We wanted to clean the lenses on some of our 360Q's and took the lenses out of the first fixture. We went to put them back in and couldn't remember if the curved surfaces of the lenses faced the inside of the tube or the outside (for both the front and the back lenses).

We looked at some of the other lights and noticed they're not consistent on this matter. They're old lights that have been touched by many many hands, some experienced, most not. Some of the lights had the curves in, some had the curves out, some had the curves facing the same direct, others had them facing opposite directions.

I tried searching around a little on this but couldn't turn up anything. What's the right way?

Thanks in advance!

Yup, belly-to-belly is always my rule of thumb.

I've always found that it's easy if you remember that; Light, moving from a less dense media to a more dense media tends to bend toward the perpendicular, light moving from a more dense media to a less dense media tends to bend away from the perpendicular, Therefore, if your lens were plano/convex,plano/convex the resultant beam pattern would.......

Yeah "Belly to Belly" is much easier to remember.
