Panic and Entry buttons on an i96 rack

At my high school we have a Remembrance system as a rehearsal board as well as entry buttons by every door and a panic button in the booth. The board is shot to hell (it got rammed by a bit of scenery as the actual board is literally on the stage) and I'm looking to replace the whole **** board. I've since found that my panic/entry buttons can be patched directly into my i96 rack, so I know that I can replace the Remembrance board and still have the entry and panic buttons work.

My panic button turns on house and work lights
My entry buttons turn on just house.
I'm looking at getting this as my rehearsal board:
1000 Series > Entertainment Lighting Controls > Lighting Management Systems > All Leviton Products from Leviton Electrical and Electronic Products

Does anyone have entry/panic buttons patched directly into their i96 rack? Are you able to have two separate scenes patched with a panic and entry button?

Is it possible to disable all entry buttons and leave the panic button in the booth active? I have wandering fingers during shows and people by the exits who seem to think that they know best when lights should go on and we know that they certainly don't :)

Does anyone know how easy it would be for me to add a new board myself? It uses DMX in and out so if it loses the signal from my console, it will default to a scene that I specify so I would need to create two new outlets for DMX for the DMX coming from the console in my booth and another going towards the rack. The more that I think about it, I'd probably need to have someone install it for me, but does that sound like a good idea to everyone?

These were originally marketed as the Lite-puter Jr. We have 3 in our theatre: 1 hanging on the wall DSR and 2 for spares when the cheap buttons and faders pack it in. As a disposable unit they are good value for the money. The internal battery is good for a couple of hours when disconnected from the wall wart power supply. We use it for rehearsal lighting and as a poor man's RFU.
