Well,

You can buy adhesive plastic rhinestones (sp?) that you could stick onto your mic. You can get these at your local craft store.

Depending on the Make/Model of your mic, the manufacturer might make plastic or neoprene sleeves, but probably nothing that is diamond studded.

If you want to get any kind of specific response, you should post the Brand and Model of the Microphone in question.

For what? tap dancing ? What kind of mic ? sm 57 ? Get some really wide elastic and a "Bedazzler" or even some small elastic, a bit of Musiln dyed the appropriate color, and a Bedazzler. No Costume shop should be without the Bedzzler!

ebay can be a scary place.

This appears to be the closest to what is desired.

thanks for the advice. I'm not sure what mic it is as the mis i am on about it still at school ut i will find out on monday. but i no that its a basic cylender shape with a switch (which needs to be accessable) and the mic head on top.
i was planing on useing it for a fashion show which is being held at my schoo, but it won't be "diamond" studed i just want the look alike so like the sticky version.

thanks again.

That is one of the coolest things I have seen in a while. Forget the costume shop...I am buying one for the scene shop.

(now how am I going to justify that to the powers that be?)

Perhaps a tad too fussy for a scene shop,

But what carp wouldn't want a bejeweled shop apron?

Good lord, that's loud...

I personally find that talent obsessed with personalized microphones are obnoxious talent...I once had a girl tell me her gold-spraypainted radioshack mic was better than my beta 58 because it was "prettier" and "had the sound she liked"...she about threw a fit when I told her she was wrong.

Needless to say, I had the p.o.s. properly disposed of right before house open...

I have seen the jewelled mic done before. Down here there is a windsock and sleeve to go onto a UR2 around that are covered in Swarovski Crystals and it gets used on Dancing With The Stars, a TV show. That set is worth upwards of 2K and that's without the mic.

If you have the money, anything is possible. A pair of White SM57s and a pair of White UR2s were made for the papal visit to Sydney earlier in the year.

Neutrik have released some bling connectors as well that would probably go nicely if you had a cabled mic in this equation. Remember that wherever the mic is being held need not be covered, you'll never see it and it will be somewhat uncomfortable to hold I would think.
