Automated Fixtures Tilt Feedback Error HELP!!!

Hey,
So we have gotten martin mac 250's for our church and I love everything about them except I am getting a tilt feedback error. I can't find any help anywhere and Martin is not responding so... i'm here. We have a show tomorrow night and desperately need the 4th mover. If you have any help or suggestions or even quick fixes, please let me know! thanks!

The manuals say "Contact service technician." which would be my advice.

It may be as simple as having the shipping locks engaged, a misaligned sensor, or a loose connection, but I would think the first place to look for help is the company you acquired them from.

Call Keith at Martin. I would also post this on Lightnetwork.com

Martin has a few people that are on the board.

Yea... I saw that. We rented these sorry i forgot to put that in there so I called the company today and the one that's not working is a spare they had sent us, they never made that clear so we thought they sent us an extra one so they said if the spair didnt work and atleast 2 of them did then they wouldn't do anything about it. So yea 2 of them work but what I was wondering is if there is any way to counter act it or quick fixes

They sent you a spare unit and you it used it in the plot. You deserve everything to go wrong that could possibly happen.

if it is a rented piece of equipment pull it from the show and DON'T FIX IT most rental houses dont like people fixing there products

That was quite uncalled for. It isn't very common that a rental house will send out a spare fixture, so unless one asked for it, one probably would not assume it was a spare.

Jby007 is right, if you have a fixture you rented, it is not your responsibility, nor a good idea to have it fixed by anyone other than the rental house if there is a problem. I do find it odd that the rental company won't either fix the unit or replace it for the duration of your rental. That seems like bad business to me. Also, it is their fixture, one would think that they would want it to work. I can understand their position if you are actually only paying to rent 2 fixtures and not 3, but that would be an amazingly odd (or just very generous) thing for the rental place to do. I would be persistent and call them a few more times, tell them that you can't have a spare that doesn't work and you would like to swap it, if you have to, offer to pay for the rental of the third fixture. There should be a way for you to get the situation rectified. If they continue to give you a hard time I would look into other rental houses for future rentals.

Usually, if you are sent a spare with a small order, and did not ask for one, the company has been having problems with that fixture and expects something to go down. You might just have to bite the bullet and rent one more fixture to do the swap out.

Ha yea we ended up pulling it. We have never rented anything before and the company did not make anything clear that it was a spare. This is the first time we have used intels in anything also so I did not know if it was something we had done or whatever. I'm not trying to cheap out the company or anything like that so don't get that idea. Thanks for the original feedback!
