Hi Everyone,

names Julien,

I live in San Francisco, been lighting shows for a while now, and I love it.

Thought I would introduce myself.

Anyone from nor-cal, hit me up!

Hi Julien, and welcome to Control Booth! I've personally found it a really great resource, for questions as well as old information (yay search!). Feel free to jump in with anything you know, or ask questions if you ever have them.

And huzzah for more Nor-Cal LDs! I'm originally form Silicon Valley, though I'm in Chicago for most of the year now. Any cool projects coming up in SF that we should be on the lookout for?

There is always cool stuff coming out of the bay area!

Recently, a lot of the shows coming out of SF opera have been awesome. They just did an Opera adaptation of Amy Tan's Bonsetter's Daughter that used some awesome projections. 20k and 8k Christies FOH, more 20k Christies used for RP. It was Siiiick... and all run off a Grand MA.
I got a tour backstage from the ME during a changeover. :)
