gobo question

Hi Everyone,

So I'm thinking about adding to my gobo repertoire for my moving lights (NW Lighting FX fixtures) but I can't seem to figure out what size I would need to order for new gobos. Basically, the manual says " gobo size 21.8mm / 15 mm image." On the rosco website, it seems like there are seizes that are bigger and small than that, but nothing with those measurements. Should I go to the next smallest size (20 mm /13 mm)? Or is there a better way to tell? Thanks in advance!

Ask your dealer, they can probably order the gobo in the size that you need. It may cost a little extra, though often not. Your dealer can find out for you. Other option is to ask the manufacturer if you can use the smaller size.

When making any of hundreds of sizes of glass gobos, Apollo begins with a larger plate and cuts each individual gobo from it. Any size from .2mm all the way up to 150mm round/square/trapezoidal may be cut. So don't think in terms of a few select sizes being available, but rather any size can be cut for your specific fixture.

Here is a guide with a few more common sizes- http://downloads.goapollo.com/patternsizes1008.pdf

Happy shopping!
