oh my god

Hahahahaha, most un-descriptive thread topic ever.

Try to have fun. As much as you're dreading it, I'm sure you'll survive this experience.

actually lighting wise it's a ton of fun because it's one of the few chances i get to use ALL the toys. and nobody really cares what it looks like..."just make it look i'm in da club". Last time this promoter did a show here we were physically threatened from the stage by the group. NICE! keeps you on your toes! but things are already better, almost everyone showed up for sound check!

You probably haven't heard my story.
Last "rap" show we had, The headliner showed up an hour after he was scheduled to be on stage. He was very drunk and started yelling at the sound guy(from the stage). He didn't show up for sound check, so he didn't even know where the sound board was. His tour manager, never told me what he wanted for lighting, so I did what I wanted. He told me he wanted more backlight. I gave him a little more, he said he wanted even more, It wasn't possible. I was then informed that he gets nervous in the spotlight. :wall: He started yelling at me aswell.
I was informed he was a big name. I have absolutely no respect for him.

Well we made it through although the headliner and the touring support never went on. the dj just stopped playing saying that he hadn't been paid yet and he just started packing up his stuff and left...

but i did get to see a guy throw his fake leg at a security guard. i don't think that I'll ever see that again.

What is touring support?

So basically the headliner didn't go on because he didn't have his money upfront? What a :!:...

The fake leg... That is amazing...

by touring support I mean the group that was touring with the headliner but as the opening act.

I kind of feel inspired to write a short story about the fake leg guy.

Ah, so the opener didnt go on. I guess thats not as bad as the headliner not going on.

Did the guy get his leg back? Or do you have a leg in the lost and found?

I have a fake hand, I have two hands, but I picked up a fake one, for a laugh, and its the most uselessly usefull thing ever!

Hip Hop is fun, as its so easy! Just make everything look tacky and you did it!
