Logitech Z-640

I found a Logitech Z-640 (5.1 speaker system, yes, I know it's consumer grade) today and am wondering if there is any way to run it at 12VDC. I want to be able to run it off a 12V 33AH lead acid batteries I pulled from an old UPS. Is there a way to do this without completely destroying it?
I considered running it from an inverter but the efficiency kind of puts me off.
Thanks.

You may have to take apart the casing that the power cord goes into to see if there's any voltage conversion circuitry, figure out what voltage it outputs, then get a converter from 12-___VDC

That's about the only way really.

If the amp runs 120V(Unlikely) then you'll have to go full inverter.
