I'm trying to order a Gobo's (B-size?) for either Strand Century model 2321 or 2211 it appears that there is a slot but no one is able to help me identify for certain what size and demensions the Gobo holder is and where I can get one?

Any help will be most appreciated?!?

If memory serves me right, those are the old grey radial beasts, right? The old 6x9s we had at college didn't have a pattern slot, not that I recall. If it does have a pattern slot (got any pictures?), a regular B-sized holder should fit, I think.

The standard Altman holder for 360/360Q fits also.

the gobo holder is the same as the Strand Lekolite - indeed a number of the parts are interchangeable including lens tubes, yokes, shutters and the complete shutter assembly. I have gobo holders at home which I made from aluminium sheet. I can post the dimensions if someone does not post the name of a supplier. I use B size gobos in these fixtures

Its a black body... and the info i've obtained lists a gobo holder as a feature
This unit? theatre.uwinnipeg.ca/download/lx/6x9bu.pdf Guaranteed it came from the factory in glorious battleship gray baked enamel. The dipstick is listed as part #1342.

Will a Holder for an Altman Shakespeare work?
As a matter of fact, yes, as the graphic below from City Theatrical shows (#2130 vs. #2140). There'll be a little play from side to side, as the SH is narrower by 3/16".

I never had much success with this fixture using gobos. I had five in battleship grey and 1 in black. I replaced the stepped lenses in the grey units with non stepped lenses which improved them as a fixture but they still did not do much with gobos. I scrapped them earlier this year and I use the lens barrels as alternates for my Lekolites which will project a gobo.
