Hey,

I'm up in Coral Springs and I'm wondering if this training would be helpful to people with absolutely no experience with intelligent lights or if it is geared more for people who have done some work with them.

Some experience with moving lights and/or control consoles is almost always a prerequisite to classes like this.

I do not think the console training would be beneficial to someone who has NO experience with moving lights. Nor would it be particularly valuable to someone who does not have access to one of the console family being taught. Too many times I see students getting caught up with being amazed at what the fixtures can do, that they miss console basics. One sort of needs to "get over" the fixtures in order to concentrate on the console.
