Hello everyone

I am a 4th year student an Kent State University (Ohio). I am also employed by the Performing Arts Center and work as the head carpenter but specialize in lighting design. I had no experience with the Light Palette Classic board before this job and am looking to enhance my skills. I have caught on extremely quick and have had some extremely positive work experience. I have worked with "Cats", "Lord of The Dance" and many of the "Cirque" companies just to name a a few.

As of right now I am looking for any good advice regarding the control of movers (ETC Source 4 Revolutions that are brand new). The main thing I am concerned about is recording some default circuits for them to run and I also need to learn how less complex ways to operate and address them. Many of you have already given me solid advice so I thank you more than you could possibly realize.

I look forward to becoming efficient at what I do and hope to completely design my own show before too long. Thanks!!!

Welcome Gary! Great to have you here. You are going to want to post your question in the Lighting Forum, so it is posted in the proper place. Not all regular members visit the New Member Board. You will get a much better response there. I hope you enjoy your time here on CB!

We can't wait either Gary, and look forward to any photos of your projects as they come to fruition. And welcome to the ControlBooth as well- we're glad you've taken the time to join us and partake in discussions. Be sure to check out the Wiki and Search functions, as they are here to serve- just like we are!

Looking forward to hearing of your theatrical exploits,
