American DJ Accu Spot Pro

Hi,
I was wondering if any one has used or has had any experience with this fixture?
I have found a used pair online for a decent price and I was wondering if its worth buying or not?

Thanks,
Christian

You ever seen that commercial where someone says "friends don't let friends do ______"? I'm going to be that guy. If you're purchasing ADJ moving heads because you LITERALLY have no other alternative at a comparable price point, than I wouldn't ask for reviews because price point is going to drive your purchase regardless. If you're seeking decent movers on a lower-end budget, you could do FAR better than ADJ. Worst comes to worst, Chauvet DJ or Elation's lighter-duty range will suit you better.

The adage "you get what you pay for" is true for all fixtures at low-end, including the ADJ heads. Poor encoder reliability, MCU problems, structural flimsiness, poor optic quality, servo issues, you name it. The only thing going for an ADJ head is the price, and if you're going to be using these fixtures for anything besides birthday parties or weddings or other private, low-contract-charge events, I wouldn't go anywhere near an ADJ fixture.

My personal chain of recommendation from greatest to least (taking price point into account):
Martin > Clay Paky > Elation > GLP > Chauvet > Blizzard > ADJ
