Stage Pin Strobe Question

This may be a dumb question but I'm wondering if there is any strobe comparable to the Martin atomic 3000 that uses stage pins instead of DMX?

The space I'm working in means to get strobes where I'd need them I'd have to use radio DMX which I'd rather not do, but I'm not aware of any nonDMX strobes?

Thanks in advance!

Most DMX-controlled strobes rely on internal capacitors to fire the strobe lamp, whereas stagepin connectors suggest using external dimmers, which are generally going to be far too slow to strobe effectively.

You can sometimes find stand-alone strobes that take Edison connectors. You could get an Edison-stagepin adapter and use a (DMX-controlled) relay module instead of a dimmer. The dimming rate and intensity would have to be set at the fixture, and wouldn't be able to be changed on the fly at the console.

1970 we had lots of strobes that would plug direct into an Edison outlet. Run it through your dimmers. Some have remotes.
