I am trying to set the DMX start address on Intelligent Power System Intelligent Raceways that were installed about 12-15 years ago. The manufacturer was originally ET Dimming, which was acquired by Rosco and then Strand/Genlyte/Philips. There are two models -- the 6-dimmer bar and the 900 series "made to order" strip. The 6-dimmer bar has an LCD screen with controls that can easily set the DMX address. The 900 series that I have does NOT have ANY display screens or controls. There are eight small buttons on the side panel with the DMX and network connections (labeled A, B, C, D). There is no logical way to change the DMX address, which seems to have been set via computer or internally upon initial setup. HELP! Has anyone encountered this before? I have looked at every available document archived online. There is nothing that shows this model or how to change the address.

Got a Picture?

Buttons or Dip Switches ?
proxy.php

Is the Raceway standalone or does it feed back into a dimmer room?

How was it connected before?

Any left over material in offices or booth?

Thanks for your reply!
A few buttons on the side (A, B, C, D) with no explanations other than "presets" in the literature. There are DIP switches on each dimmer, but these only control the sequence within the pack itself and not the DMX address. There is no central DIP switch for addressing. The raceway is a standalone unit, but there are two trusses with identical raceways. Each has 18 dimmers.

As rick said post a shot of the name plate if you can. I can search my archives but I don't remember building or working on the 900 series.
