Hey, all,

I've been lurking a bit and thought the proper thing would be to introduce myself. I currently live in Indianapolis, and generally work in scenic and lighting design, with the occasional technical director role. For some reason unbeknownst to me at this time, I often get hired to work in unconventional venues: abandoned piano factories, abandoned gas stations, warehouse space, Mason's lodge ballroom, etc, etc, though I'm not without a good deal of experience in the traditional proscenium setting. In addition, I've done some work with IATSE in Northern Colorado.

Looking forward to sharing thoughts and knowledge!

Cool! Welcome Aboard!
Personally, I LOVE "found" spaces as theatrical and production venues. They are a challenge and , I feel, they push you, to really do your job as a TD. to not only find ways to make it work, but to make it work Properly!
Looking forward to your input and question!

For me, at times, it's a love hate relationship during the process, but the result is usually worth it!
