* All data provided by Altman Stage Lighting website, 1999.
* 3.5 Series - set for cosine distribution with EHD 500 watt.
* 360 Series - set for cosine distribution (most have 'hot' center).
* 360 Series - Date is shown for both the EHF (750 watts 300 hours)
and the new more efficient HP600 (600 watt 300 hours) lamps.
* 1KL Series - set to 'flat field' distribution. (FEL-1000w 300 hours)
* Shakespeare Series - 'flat field' distribution. (FLX-HX600/115V)
# Theses two fixtures have the same photometrics when set for cosine
distribution, however the 10 degree is capable of 490,875 VS 343,000
candela, when adjusted for 'peak center'.

I've had fine luck with the EGE in our small space. As long as the throw is relatively short (under 25' or so), you get a decent light.
Does anyone have spare burn bases (caps, not sockets -- sockets are still available) they want to dispose of? Possibly in trade for Altman 360 and/or 360Q parts? I am also looking for burn bases for Century 6 inch and 8 inch Lekos -- we have some real antiques here!

What kind of unused fixtures do you have? Me and my brother are soon to be owners of a startup audio and lighting company. Any fixtures you don't use may be great use for us.I have some caps you can have for the price of shipping. They are for the 360Q though. The casting is the same, they just don't have that triangular plate. You could probably have that made if you're interested. Heck I probably also have lenses, tubes, etc.
I'm in tech week right now, but feel free to PM me if you are interested. Trying to de-clutter my theatre as well as my personal storage unit – both of which contain a bit of unused lighting gear.

These are the 1970's version, like the Model 2312 (spec sheet attached). Steel and cast parts. Still beauties!Can you post the model number or picture of the Century 6" ellipsoidal you need caps for? I may have some.
Thanks for your input Ship. I've been restoring and using these things myself since the 70s, so I know what I am looking for. What I need is the cast base that the socket, whip, etc. attaches too -- the actual "lamp cap." I have plenty of MPF sockets, triangle plates, whips, insulators, and screws -- but I need the caps because some bright boy saw asbestos whips and just threw out the whole thing instead of clipping off the wires.
So, I need Altman 360 (radial) caps AS WELL as Century Model 2312 (6" Lekolight) and Century Model 1570 (8" Lekolight), as noted abouve (see the spec sheets for the Century models posted March 31).
