Hello from Las Vegas...

Well, not really.

I've been a freelancer in Boston, MA for about 4 years, got tired of the area and was lightly encouraged to move to Las Vegas.

Mostly I like working on carpentry projects, but I can also do lighting work pretty well, can even pretend that I know how to operate an MA 2 in an emergency.

I could use any hints and leads on work, can't live on one A/V company's scraps forever.

OH There are plenty of Vegas people here to give you Leads!

Yup yup, many Las Vegas ControlBooth buddies here that may be able to plug your talent into the local pool. You may consider a quick search through archived threads which feature "Las Vegas", and you'll have a new contact list!

Welcome to the 'Booth, RickGlass

VER is only working for warehouse people, and paying poorly

TAIT, however, I am interested in, mostly because their gear is the least difficult to work with that I've ever experienced, it's like adult duplo blocks.

Got an email contact that isn't the sales office or does that reach their labor coordinator too?

I know a few who work with or have worked with them. I'll check. Also, if you are into magic, several magicians have shops in town.

We don't have any current openings out of Vegas at the moment. Our Vegas office is mostly dedicated to show support for the city as we have our hands in many of the shows out there. You can always find job listings on our website: http://www.taittowers.com/careers/ Of course if you are interested in more about what we do, feel free to ask!
