Ok, That is Really cool!

What's the shelf life for them? Melting wise?

All the same standard patterns from glass and metal?

What fixtures do they support thus far?

Quality plastic or Recyled ?

Do they work in gobo rotators?

Yes, though the PrintScenic on glass would be the best choice in this case. The image would remain flat indefinitely, and depending upon the wattage and focus of the fixture, fading of ink would be delayed significantly.

It depends upon the artwork and the fixture, Amiers. We have a list of tested and approved lighting fixtures on our website, and as can be expected- a 20W LED produces much less heat than a 230W source. An open spider web gobo will trap less heat than a 1/4" aperture gobo, so artwork affects longevity.

Yes, within reason of course. A 9mm image area doesn't allow much artwork detail as a 66mm image area of a B size gobo. The larger diameter the image area, the better.

I tried to post the list, but it was too long for the thread. SO- here's a link to the list:

Quality plastic or Recyled ?
Brand new substrate not used in our industry. (Except by Apollo, that is!) :D

One last question cause I didn't see there was a video. That can't be the actual printer there is no way that could handle the load of gobos y'all pump out. So the question is what's actually under the sheet?

That is the actual printer under the sheet. PrintScenic® gobos are still a very small part of overall gobo sales. We are hoping that with this new printer, with its better resolution and much, much bigger size (it's about 15' x 6'), printed gobos for use in LED fixtures will take off.

It could easily be the printer, a big commercial machine can pump up
How do you tell the elves from the gnomes?
Toodleoo!
Ron Hebbard.

I would think it would be pretty easy. Are there gifts randomly showing up at your house, or are all of your underpants disappearing?

It's been interesting to see the micro-dot technology advancing in the printing world, especially when you consider the color mixing ability the process allows.

At about the same price as a custom metal gobo, the full color PrintScenic opens the doors for more creativity. Yeah!
