Hello, I have a Strand 250ML in our school's auditorium (not by choice :) ). I am trying to find a way to use its MIDI Interference to have Qlab send cue commands to the Lighting Board via MIDI. I have found little to no information on this and I want to pick your all's brains on this. This would be great for Show Choir performances, Drama Plays, Dance Recitals, etc...

Thank You for your help.

Why not by choice? Is there something about the console that doesn't work for you? Not sure where in the process you are, but page 12 of the manual for Midi Setup wtih the accompanying chart of midi commands seems like it would be enough information? Maybe you have a specific question?

I personally think the 250ML is a nifty little moving light console for what it is and from the description of your performance catalog sounds like a "make sense" choice.

@Ron Foley Would you care to assist @Dillweed ?
Toodleoo!

Also curious as to how you want to fire the cues as the table is pretty straight forward about what relates to what.

The general use would be program change number to jump from cue to cue. However from reading and understanding of this your console doesn’t support cue changing with MIDI.

You could try to shove every midi command at it and see what sticks maybe you will get lucky.
