backing up etc sensor

I think you're conflating a couple things because your dimmers are certainly not connected to a UPS, but your architectural processor or DMX nodes might be. Either way, system settings are stored in non-volatile memory and a power-cycle will not erase anything.

Whose are they. If ETCs, call them and ask. If Pathway's, ask Rob here.

Are you sure they need constant power? Seems like these are all designed with understanding they are moved. Can't believe unpatching a POE node requires reprogramming.

PS - but don't rely on this!

Pessimist. My data center has a 480V 400A/leg UPS. :)
@Jay Ashworth and @MNicolai If / when you're working in any of the large Vegas Casino's, wangle a visit to the UPS's backing up their gaming rooms, I've been in one where 27 full size Sensor racks were fully UPS powered at each end of one gaming room; 54 full height Sensor racks in one room all FULLY backed up with UPS's. Even the comparatively small casino in Windsor, Ontario has an amazing amount of UPS's backing up every Strand dimmer rack in the game room I worked in. @EdSavoie You may want to check out the UPS's in Casino Windsor while you're living in the city.
