We love getting to attend the great sessions at USITT, there are always quite a few CB members running sessions, doing book signings, and sharing their knowledge with the next generation.

Let us know what booth you'll be at, or what session you'll be running. In years past, we've always managed to get drive great attendance to the sessions that are given by CB members. Let's show them our love at the show!

I will be sharing my time between the Elation and ADJ booths.

Make sure to stop by Elation at booth #945. We will be offering hands on demos of our DYLOS software as well as Capture visualization. Giveaways too!
ADJ at booth #831 will be showing Media Master. I use this all the time for controlling my digital backgrounds and projector blending.

Of course there will be lighting fixtures on hand to look at as well... ;)

Look for the guy in the bow tie and say hello!

Well, it looks like Altman will have *something* new to show off at USITT!

Well, it looks like USITT just had it's first major exhibitor decide to withdraw. It's ETC / High End Systems.

After careful deliberation, ETC has made the decision to withdraw from both the USITT Stage Expo (scheduled for April 1-4) and Prolight + Sound (scheduled for May 26-29). At this time, the companies still plan to conduct the USITT training classes and speaker sessions as planned.

OSRAM is still planning to exhibit at USITT "at this time", but we will be monitoring the situation and if things get worse, we may still cancel. The same goes for NAB. We have already pulled out of Pro Light & Sound in May.

@Rob has confirmed that Pathway will be there.

There is now a much larger list of companies that will not be coming to USITT, including Advanced Entertainment Services, Aquarii, Arri Inc., DeSisti-Coemar, Epson Labelworks PX, ETC/High-End, Everlast Productions, Feld Entertainment, Grosh Backdrops and Projections, KadaN Productions Inc., Meyer Sound, ModTruss Inc., NMR Events, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, PRG, Pulp Art Surfaces, RZI Lighting, ShowBuilder, Strand/Vari*Lite, TAIT, and Verity Studios.

DFD will be at USITT, don't forget to drop by and say hi to @jfleenor , and perhaps wave at Doug too.👋 🤣

Do we know has USITT seen a drop in members attending or an increase in attendees cancelling?

So far, they haven't released any figures about attendence drops. However, a lot of schools are canceling school sponsored trips, so we'll see what happens. We've seen roughly 25 vendors out of 320 cancel for USITT, but many more have confirmed they are going.

That's good.

Latest update. Sounds like they're considering their options.

In light of ever-changing global events, the USITT Board of Directors is meeting in emergency session tonight, March 11, 2020, to determine next steps regarding the USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo.

USITT will make an announcement tomorrow regarding the outcome of that meeting.
