    Not every DVD player. Just the ones that support CD+G. (If the karaoke graphics need to bee seen) Otherwise CD+G are seen by players as regular CDs.

    XLR is use for line level all the time. In most set ups, the XLRs going to the amps are line level. On linking powered speakers with XLRs, its line level coming out of the previous speaker.

    Also check the roll-off switch on all of them. (3 position switch around where an on/off switch would be if it had one). I used 3-sm 81s for my high school choir (whole group pickup) and use sm58s for the soloists.

    Some of there stuff is name brand, you just don't know which on untill you get your order. Most of the DJ lights are Elimator. A few are Chauvet and i think the higher powered blacklights are American DJ. Im not sure why the mark out the brands though.

    Those arn't bad. cheaplights.com is a good source, I use them alot. Have you thought of useing the 4ft tube ones though? I would be alot cheaper.

    Hello ControlBooth

    Im Aaron from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I am the only sound/lighting/av tech person in my high school. Luckly it is a small school and im not that overworked.
