My next tour we're touring 18 Atomics, and 8 JCD's. You've just made me feel like a real peice of crap! Although, I agree your correct in receiving venues where the house tech doesn't know the music too well and strobes and blinders are something you can't undo if you're timing it poorly.

I agree, in the UK typically every distro has an MCBO. With intelligent staff which Ron makes it sound like you don't have this won't be an issue. As long as the required technical staff know what power is going where then then I cannot see there being an issue.

I couldn't agree with this more.I've been in a venue this week with PL-1 cyc floods, they're good, the colours are acceptable and they're fairly bright.

That's a fairly common sight in the UK, strain relief on the connector may not be good, but if it is this 100% safe when used alongside competent technicians.
