    Pro Intercom

The beltpacks are Tan. They're nearly 30 years old, so I'm assuming they're 500's. The reason for replacing them is that they are old and unreliable. Some are completely broken. There is nothing wrong with the base stations so we just need to replace the belt packs.

    Pro Intercom

Hi, We're looking at replacing our aging clear-com beltpacks and headsets. I am looking into replacing the clear-com equipment with pro-intercom and wondered if anyone has any experience with this equipment. How reliable and durable is it? Will it play well with our clear-com base stations?It...

    Auto CAD Scaling Question

I don't know if it helps much, but the standard theatrical drawing scale in the UK (I'm not sure if it's the same for the rest of Europe) is 1:25 so every 1 cm is equal to 25 cm at full scale. So if you can measure it in centimetres and then multiply by 0.25 you will get the size in meters which...

    Microphones Countryman E6 windscreens

I have found that we need them. I've tried it both ways, and they sound much better with them. TimMc is right, they seem to pick up wind noise just from movement. They seem pretty sensitive to that.

    Microphones Countryman E6 windscreens

Does anyone have a source for reasonably priced replacement foam windscreens for Countryman E6 earset mics? The cheapest I can find is at about $10 each, which is a lot for a tiny bit of foam. Our actors are always losing theirs, and I don't think we can afford to replace them at this price.

Anything at comparable price point that rivals ETC ColorSource PAR?

We’re using Chauvet Colorado Solo’s for our wash lights. They have a motorized zoom and a very nice homogenized beam. I’ve been able to creat some very nice smooth washes with them. The only downside is that they are. RGBW, so are lacking an amber or lime emitter.

    AMX192 Specifications?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find some specifications for AMX192? I specifically need to know what type of cable is required and voltage / current used (Our electricians are asking for this info). We are having some work done in our black box theatre which is equipped with very...

    Altman 3.5q repairs

They don't appear to be particularly well designed. The pressure plates are just attached by four screws through the body of the light which offer no adjustment. The only method of pressure I can see is a small divot on the plate where each shutter is. I have tried bending this, but don't appear...

    Altman 3.5q repairs

Hi,My theatre has a large number of Altman 3.5q Elipsoidals. It seems that almost every one of them has the same problem. The shutters are very loose and unable to be put into any useful position. I have opened up a few of these fixtures to attempt a repair, but I can't figure out a way to...
