The problem I had is that I tightened it down apparently too much, and after 2 or 3 nights of use, the belt got a weak spot in it at one point. I'm afraid to tighten the new belts that much.

Recently replaced the tilt belts on a couple SL300s due to breakage, and now it seems after a few hours of running, the belt slips causing the fixture to lose its tilt position. I'm afraid of over-tightening the belts for fear they'll break again. Does anybody know the procedure for setting...
