    Head phones

    In the rare times that I do run sound for shows or in the studio I use headphones. The only problem is the mix sits good in the headphones but as soon as I take them off to hear the room sound it sounds like poo. Is there an easy way to fix this without loosing my headphone mix for recording...

    Sound board clean

    :wink: I also found that cigarette ash can be a pain to clean off the board to. We still smoke in the studio anyway.

    I've been a studio musician for the past 2 years and ended falling in love with mixing. I saw the sight while searching for schools to further my knowledge. I am really trying to learn about this art. What little I know now has helped a lot in the studio and made me more open to the engineers...
