I'm looking to update to LED in some of my smaller venues (throw distance 10-15') and in portable band setups with one FOH truss and I've typically used S4Jr for frontlight for these. I'd like to replace them with LED. Bonus would be a higher color temp, but I don't know how the fixtures below...

Just bought some of the clear com & they are very comfy compared to some of our Telex sets. But still fairly isolating. Didn't know Shure made headsets, I'll have to check that out.

Are those the equiv to drywall screws?I need to have something to hang LED tape/coroplast/etc on.

Does it make sense to use wing bolts and T nuts to connect the sides of the flats together? I am planning to use stage screws for the bottom rails into the stage

This is very helpful. A few questions - If I make one 8' section easily removable, would I use the Sure Hinges across the stiles? How many per side would I use? How do I attach the jacks to the stiles of the flats? I have the stagecraft handbook

Aaron, thanks for your reply. I think I'd like the whole wall to be removable in sections, and lighter than a stud wall (hence the Hollywood flat idea). Seams are OK. I would most likely use painted plywood because I'm going to attach other things to the face of it.

Good point about the Mega-Sidearm not being 1.9" OD. OOPS! I did see that City Theatrical has a Safer Sidearm model 210M that would work. I'm just trying to hang them out from the catwalk, not necessarily below it.I do like the idea of having some upside-down Ts made from Schedule 40 1.9" OD...

Moving into a new venue in a couple of weeks (woohoo!) and we have catwalks, which are amazing. (Older venue has 15' trim, so lifts and ladders...). Anyway, the venue is designed to have instruments hung from catwalk rails. There are two rails - one at handrail height and one about a foot below...
