These are some pictures from the production of Children of Eden I designed this summer.

I would have loved to use LEDs, but they are not an option. The rep plot has 1k par 64s. All I really can do is gel them. I would also be fine with using a purple if you think that could expand my options in a deep color.

I'm looking to find a good deep blue gel for use in 1k par 64s. I'm looking to create a nice night time look from them. Right now I am thinking of using L710. I wanted to use congo blue, but am afraid it will burn out. Any ideas are very much appreciated. Thanks, Brian

I have my show in lightwright 5 and I want to get the soft patch from lightwright into the offline editor. I know I need to export an ASCII file, but am lost at what to do after that.

My plan was to have them all addressed before even getting to the facility. I have a crew of around 10 and two and a half hours. I have close to no hanging and focusing to do. For what the director wants, my only idea is scrollers. She want a ton of looks that are not alike at all.

They will be used on my down lights. the rental company has a scroll that they call their "theatrical" set of colors. I dont remember their numbers, but they are mostly light blues, greens, with a few reds and yellows. Im doing cinderella, and there are not a lot of blackouts planned. I wanted...

I am looking to put some scrollers on altman 1k fresnels. I was wondering what percent everyone thinks I would need to park the fixture at so that I do not damage the scrolls.

I took physics as a sophomore, and am taking calc as a senior now along with 20th century physics.

Our director is a teacher in the school, so regardless of what they are doing I need to bite my tongue. If I am rude to them, it screws me over in the long run if I have one as a teacher in the future.

When I did the show we used a golf cart and they drove it around on stage.

I have had mixed experiences with directors sitting in the booth for productions. I have had a director who sat with us and told us what a wonderful job we were doing. I have also had a director who decided that a stage manager does not call cues... She sat next to me on the board, physically...

There are two types of downloads you can do for the student version. Make sure you download the larger file. If you download the small file you will not get any of the libraries that come with the program.
