Personally, I enjoy making cables. Only when it applies. To get that perfect rack set right. If it's for a standard application you can't go wrong with Neutrik!
That's actually a very simple setup, perfect for the in-house training, one more question if I may. When you reffered to "hardware to setup a lighting network" I understand how and what is needed on a wired system with a "remote"But if I'm going the way of the surface and just use the dongle...
Yup, simple. IP/port were fooked. Now that the client has his system back. He's finally able to see his control via the iPad. Hates it. So now I have a budget of 4500 to get hardware/software/programming/training. Any other suggestions for a PC based system with a a remote that has playback...
Agreed, but in this application in-house A/V just runs a cues on loop. They are controlling 12 Elation 300's so he just wants to be able to change the color on the fly if needed.
I'm finally able to get back into the space. I'm thinking I have a couple of solutions from you guys. Thank you very much. I'm hoping when/if I get Elation up and running the iPAD option he wanted is enough. CHEERS!
So I'm guessing there really isn't something out there that can be programmed (Cues, scenes etc etc legwork) on one machine then have full control via an iPAD?
Thank you for the manual. It does seem pretty straight forward. As a side question. Could I get a couple of other reliable options for PC based boards? Thanks.
The mac mini holds the program. From the Mac Mini the program works flawlessly into the space. 10 sixpar 300's and 2 DTW Par 300's. We ran ethernet to get a connection into the space. The only issue I'm running into is that the iPad that the client wants to use refuses to connect to the network...
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,I'm having an issue with the Elation, Emulation software. For some reason everything works perfectly fine while on the Mac mini. Cues work, patching etc etc. The issue I am having is that for some reason the iPAD does not want to work.I'm not familiar with PC...
