I've been involved with the Pageant of the Master since 1981, when I was a 6 year old kid in the cast. I continued that through 1989. That's when I started thinking about joining the Stage Crew. I thought it might make for a good summer job, but I didn't know if I would like doing it, so when I started high school I signed up for the Theatre Tech class. There I learned that, not only was theatre fun to do, but I had a talent for it. So in the summer of 1990 I joined the Pageant's Stage Crew at the age of 15. I stayed on the crew through high school. I took '93 and '94 off, but came back as pre-season overhire and returned to the Stage Crew after my second year of college in 1995. I continued with that and other freelance jobs, including a 3 year stint with the Santa Ana College Theatre Department through 1999. The Pageant offered me the Master Electrician position beginning with the 2000 season, and I've been doing that ever since.

As far as my education goes:
I graduated from Laguna Beach High School in 1993.
I did my first three years of college at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. Then I transfered to the University of California, Irvine where I studied stage lighting.
I graduated from UCI in 1998 with a B.A.
